Jack L. Parker
-
Twenty-five (25) years of hands-on and management experience with two prominent national general contractors in California and Hawaii. Entered the industry as an apprentice carpenter in 1962, advancing within short periods of time to Carpenter Foreman, General Foreman, Field Superintendent, Assistant Project Manager, and from 1974 to 1987, Senior Project Manager in charge of numerous large projects, including high-rise condominiums, hotels, and commercial complexes.
In Hawaii, developed the 3-day and then the 2-1/2 day structural cycle to complete all vertical and horizontal elements (floors, walls and ceilings) of the construction cycle on high-rise concrete buildings, utilizing specially-created techniques in slip form, flying form and precast work. Maintained a consistent record of fast-track scheduling, resulting in early completion of major construction projects.
In 1988, founded Summit Construction, Inc. Also founder and President of a major Hawaii construction consulting company since 1987. Construction consultant on numerous residential and commercial projects in Hawaii, California, Nevada, Washington, Vancouver, Guam, Philippines, Singapore and Taiwan.
